Judy leads the Lieutenant Governor’s staff as a 30-year veteran of the Marshall County Legislative Office where she served as its Director. During her time as the director of the legislative office, she worked with members of both the House and Senate from Marshall County to draft legislation, resolutions, and manage their constituent services. She is the first woman to hold the position as Chief of Staff to the Lieutenant Governor. Miller currently serves on the boards of the Marshall County Child Advocacy Center and Convention and Visitors Bureau, and previously served as Chair of the United Way of Marshall County. A graduate of Leadership Marshall County, Miller founded the Marshall County Teen Pregnancy Prevention Coalition and was selected as a “Local Hero” by the Sand Mountain Reporter newspaper in 2014. A life-long resident of Arab, Alabama, she and her husband, Jimmy, a veteran law enforcement officer, have two married children and three grandchildren.
Jess comes to the Lieutenant Governor’s Office as his Deputy Chief of Staff from the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries where he served as Deputy Commissioner for External Affairs. He has years of experience related to public policy and working with members of the Alabama Legislature. As a life-long resident of the State of Alabama, Jess has a passion to provide the citizens of our state with more jobs, better schools, and a higher standard of ethics in their government. Jess and his wife, Charlanna, live in Montgomery and have four children.
Cindy has worked alongside Lieutenant Governor Ainsworth for 15 years as his Executive Assistant at Dream Ranch. She has a passion for public education having previously taught middle-school math in the Jefferson County School System. Cindy is a native of Albertville, Alabama.
Cole serves as the Senate Liaison for the Lieutenant Governor’s Office. He coordinates with members of the Alabama Senate on current legislative matters and works closely with the Lieutenant Governor’s Commission on a 21st Century Workforce. He is a DeKalb County native who enjoys serving the people of Alabama and promoting a better state for its’ citizens. Cole, and his wife Jade, live in Montgomery and have one son.
